Temple Life

Temple Life

We support our members.

Temple members receive ongoing rabbinic support through all lifecycle events and for all religious needs. Members share in a myriad of ways and enjoy limitless opportunities for involvement.

Havurah Groups • Connect to One Another
A Havurah (friends) is a small group of Temple members who share similar interests and get together to share special times and events. Havurah groups may be based on family orientation, age groups or geography, and allow members to get to know each other on a very personal level. For more information on finding a group to match your interest, please contact Janet Rasmus at 206.315.7471

The Tribe • Connect to Young Adults
Offering stimulating social events, meaningful community action programs and engaging educational experiences for Jewish adults ages 22-35. Rabbi Aaron Meyer, Associate Rabbi • 206.323.8486 x7302

Early Childhood • Connect with Young Families
Unique Early Childhood programs and events are specifically designed to accommodate our young family’s needs.
To learn more, please contact Laurel Abrams, Jennifer Rosen Meade Preschool Director at 206.315.7428.

Socialize • Get Connected
Our members enjoy and participate in many festive annual holiday and social events including:
• Ending summer with a Schmooze-A-Que dinner
• Decorating Sukkahs on Sukkot
• Dancing to Klezmer music at Simchat Torah
• Eating latkes at our Hanukkah Celebration
• Reading the Megillah and playing at the Purim Carnival
• Experiencing nature within the context of outdoor Shabbat
• Establishing new relationships through WRJ & MRJ (Women/Men of Reform Judaism)

Classes & Lectures • Connect Through Learning
Temple members participate in a variety of adult educational offerings, most at no extra charge.

Volunteer • Stay Connected for Life
One of the best ways to get involved here at Temple and connect with other members is to volunteer. Volunteering your time in all aspects of Temple life, will not only be rewarding, it may create the beginnings of lifelong friendships.
