At Temple De Hirsch Sinai, we are a family of families. As such, we believe it is important to help one another in times of hardship. To that end, our Caring Community program offers services to fellow congregants in need. Our program is evolving, but our primary focus is on helping congregants by providing meals, driving to doctor appointments, and running errands.
We belong to a wonderfully diverse and caring community that can provide support to individuals and families during difficult times.
No matter how much or little time you have available, we'd love to have your help.
• Are you in need of services or do you know of someone who could use a helping hand?
• Are you able to provide occasional assistance to others by cooking a meal or offering a ride?
Please contact Gayle Carrol at 206.323.8486 x7309 for more information.
Through these and other mitzvot, we help heal the world close to home, often becoming better acquainted and warmer friends in the process.
Congregational life and all of Jewish tradition should ensure that we need not face any situation or problem alone.
SPECIAL NOTICE
Due to increased concerns about patient privacy, area hospitals no longer notify us when a Temple member is hospitalized.
If you or a loved one are hospitalized and would like a rabbinic visit, please contact the Temple office at 206.323.8486.
