What is the real story of Hanukkah? Come and explore the history of Hanukkah and its rituals over a few drinks and snacks.

All Temple members are invited to come peruse the amazing displays documenting the orgins and growth of Jewish Business in Washington State over the past century.
November 13th
4:00pm Exhibit open for view, community welcome
6:00pm Services, community welcome
7:00pm FEED Dinner followed by presentation by Carol Starin and viewing of exhibit
November 15th
10:00-11:00am PEP (Parallel Education for Parents), Study session on history of families in the community, presentation by Gayle Carrol.
11:10-11:55am 5th-7th grade Religion School Study session with the boards. Lesson plan built upon Jewish ethics in business.
12:00-2:00pm Exhibit open to the public.

Painting classrooms at John Muir Elementary
Saturday, November 14 9:00am-1:00pm
We are calling for volunteers to help paint 5 classrooms at John Muir Elementary on November 14, from 9am-1pm. We just need people ages 12 and over who would be willing to give 4 hours of their time to make these classrooms bright and shiny again for these children. Enjoy a FREE performance and sing-along with Seattle Jewish Chorale, and support the Chorale while you shop! Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of your purchases to SJC.
