Good Start Back to School!
Temple De Hirsch Sinai is participating in the 15th Annual Congregations for Kids “Good Start Back to School” collection of school supplies. The supplies that we collect will help needy children on the Eastside have a successful beginning to their school year. Throughout the month of July, please bring school supplies to TDHS in Bellevue to support this worthy cause. For more information contact Rabbi Alan Cook via email or at 206-323-8486.
All supplies are welcome, but below are the items that are most needed:
- Backpacks (no wheels or slings)
- 3 ring binders
- Simple calculators
- Composition books
- Crayons (24 count)
- Dividers
- Erasers
- Folders with pockets
- Glue sticks
- Highlighters
- Index cards (100 count)
- Washable Fat Markers (8 count)
- Washable Thin Markers (8-10 count)
- Wide Rule paper
- College Rule paper
- Pens (black or blue, 9-12 count)
- Pens (red ballpoint)
- Erasable pens
- Sharpie pens
- Pencil boxes
- Pencils (10-12 count)
- Colored pencils (8-12 count)
- Pencil cases punched for 3-ring binder
- Post it notes
- Report covers with fasteners
- Rulers
- Pointed scissors
- Spiral notebooks wide rule
- Spiral notebooks college rule
- USB 2 GB or more Memory Sticks
